What is the essence of European identity? What is the purpose of united Europe?
It is without a doubt - Peace.
As with peace all things begin to make sence and have meanining. Without peace everything we see is just someone elses agenda, another plot to trick us, robe us of something dear and near.
European identity is without doubt universal humanity.
Europe as old continent has reached, touched, and changed, all other continents, thus it should be a place of unification, gathering and promotion of universal values.
Death of Yugoslavia was warning, but also let us hope it can become a vaccine to get new imunity to European peace project.
But the peace project is not the goal in itself, we need peace in order to think straight, and build better, not to sleep in peace.
